2025 marks the 25th year of Suezcap’s establishment. According to the Lunar calendar, it is also the Year of the Snake, which signifies a time of transformation, wisdom, and progression. This year, we want to celebrate the Chinese New Year in a grand manner to commemorate our business journey and growth and usher in good luck and fortune.
Last year, we organised the company’s Chinese New Year celebration at our grand banquet hall. This year, we aimed to do things differently by having our CNY lunch at Hilton Petaling Jaya! We wanted a unique celebration where our team could relax, unwind, and have an amazing time.
As we entered the dining area at Hilton PJ, we saw bright red lanterns and flowers dotting every corner of the space, which added to the festive vibe. After everyone took their seats and made themselves comfortable, the entire space instantly buzzed with laughter and conversations, making the atmosphere feel extra vibrant and festive.
The team was treated to a lavish buffet spread of mouth-watering Chinese cuisine, including seafood, stew meats, soups, and pastries.
We were spoilt for choice as we helped ourselves to the tasty dishes and desserts – of course, everyone went for several helpings. We shared dishes, conversations, and a whole lot of laughter – our tummies are filled and our hearts are full!
Eating together is a cherished custom that strengthens the fabric of Chinese society. In Chinese culture, the act of sharing a meal symbolises unity, togetherness and bonding. Dining together, whether among colleagues or friends, has helped to reinforce ties and build better connections.
This year’s Chinese New Year luncheon was more than just a lavish meal; it was a joyful gathering that brought everyone at Suezcap together to celebrate the festive season and recognise our contributions to the company.
