Bangsar Hill Park is an upscale residential development spanning 9.82 acres in the heart of Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Strategically located along Lorong Maarof, it is built on the redevelopment site of the former Sri Pahang flats. Designed with a vision of urban resort living, the development harmoniously blends modern city convenience with natural tranquility.

Bangsar Hill Park
Sri Pahang to
Residensi Maarof @ Bangsar Hill Park
In 1975, the Sri Pahang Flats in Bukit Bangsar were officiated by the late Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein as one of Kuala Lumpur’s earliest public housing initiatives. Built to promote dignified, inclusive city living, the development became a symbol of urban harmony and community strength.
Tun Razak envisioned a future where every resident of Sri Pahang would one day own a home of their own. Nearly five decades later, Suezcap proudly helped realise that vision—through the transformation of Sri Pahang into Residensi Maarof @ Bangsar Hill Park: a contemporary, resort-style urban sanctuary designed to uplift not just buildings, but lives.
Why Sri Pahang Flat Redevelopment Was Essential
As one of the city’s earliest public housing projects, Sri Pahang had long outlived its structural lifespan. Originally comprising nine blocks with 1,017 compact units (380–550 sq ft), the flats faced mounting safety and liveability issues, including:
Cracked ceilings and persistent water leaks
Unstable structures and tremors from nearby construction
Narrow access routes unsuitable for emergency vehicles
Deteriorating mechanical and electrical systems
Ageing walkways and common areas
Outdated design and inadequate parking
Yet, amidst the physical decline, the spirit of community remained strong. The need for transformation was not only urgent—it was a matter of social responsibility.
Suezcap’s Role
in Urban Renewal
Suezcap initiated and led the entire redevelopment process with a clear sense of purpose and vision. This included:
- Comprehensive urban analysis and feasibility studies
- Community engagement and needs-based proposals
- Strategic collaboration with DBKL under the KL Urban Renewal Programme
- A masterplan aligned with national housing goals and urban aspirations
The transformation was designed not merely to rebuild, but to enrich the lives of those who had called Bukit Bangsar home for generations.
What the
Community Gains
Residensi Maarof @ Bangsar Hill Park redefines urban living while honouring its roots. The community now benefits from:
- Spacious 800 sq ft homes—nearly double the size of the original units
- Functional three-bedroom layouts with dedicated parking bays
- Gated and guarded surroundings for improved safety
- Green spaces, enhanced accessibility, and resort-style facilities
- A renewed connection to place and community identity
Residensi Maarof was officially handed over to DBKL and offered for ownership to long-standing tenants through a government homeownership programme—fulfilling the late Prime Minister Tun Razak’s enduring promise of urban equity and dignity.

Clearly, that’s to be our mission.
Our team has grown in succession,
Ready to champion our elevation.
Transition to Strategic Partnership
In October 2020, Sunsuria Berhad entered the project as a joint development partner. On 6 June 2024, Sunsuria completed the full acquisition of equity in Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd, taking the lead in realising the vision established by Suezcap.
As the founding initiator, Suezcap takes pride in having laid the groundwork for transformation—from feasibility studies and community consultation to master planning and stakeholder collaboration.
Sunsuria now continues this legacy with the development of Residensi Maarof and six blocks of Bangsar Hill Park Resort-Inspired Residential Towers—carrying forward the promise of urban renewal, dignity, and shared progress.
Together, we built the foundation. Now, the legacy lives on.
